(3) Merlion Park

Warning, this post contained so many narcissism attitude. hahaha

We're in Melrlion this time, the icon of Singapore. This Merlion Park located in One Fullerton. Cant say that we've been in Singapore if we never touchdown this place, thst what people said. You agree? Cause i do. hehe

Its in the middle of the day. So shiny and hot. Sunblock really useful that day. Oh, we met so many Japanese tourist. A lil kid below was ultra cute ! >_<

Beside the heat shoot, the lack of sleep cause us really not on our best mood. After taking picture, we just sat there and watched people come and go. I saw so many happy family and couple. Somehow, i miss my parents :')

That might be the most...unhappy moment on our trip. Note you me and to all of you who's gonna go on a vacation. Do not underestimate the power of sleeping. We need energy to have fun you know ! :D

(3) Changi Airport & Raffles Hill

October, 14th - 15th 2012

I really didn't know what Puji keep on telling us to spent the night in Airport. Also, i didn't know why we agreed on the first place. I know that its the only place we could sleep with no charge but of course we had a choice to used a hostel instead. But yaaa..for the sake of youth experience, we slept at the Airport that night. fufufu~

Changi Airport - Singapore

Just like any other place in Singapore, this Changi Airport was super clean and organized. In case you wonder, No. The airport didn't provide a place for us to sleep. There're only some standard chair. And yaa..we slept on it.

If i had to chose again, i would rather pay for some hostel than to experience that night again. First, i was not comfortable to sleep in public. Second, the chair ached my body. Third, its super cool that i felt like freezing. So i didn't sleep well. If i calculated, its only two or three hours that i really used for sleeping. Puji didn't even sleep at all. The one that really slept maybe just Harvin. All hail him !

I went to the bathroom a lot that night. Why? To use the hand drier ! hahaha It was warm you know :p

So after changing, we went to Raffles Hill, the place where most office located. It was so different, the weekday and weekend in Singapore. In weekend, the MRT was deserted. But in weekday....God ! It was so crowded. All the people i saw was such in a rush. I know that Indonesia had the slower walking speed, but i never imagine that in Singapore..people really walk that fast. Even lady in high heel could walk in that kind of speed.

Raffles Hill - Singapore

The escalator was fast, but instead on using it, the people walk on it. No one talked with each other, they busy with their own mind or headset. This somehow..made them looked like a robot to me.

Talking about Raffles Hill. Sky scrapper was all i could saw. But in the middle of the area, there's a mini garden where people could see some green stuff. Harvin keep on saying that this is the place he dreamed of. I hate to say but...i didn't wanna live in this place. Holiday is okay, but to spend the rest of my life in the place where people dont really talk to each other? I dont think i could handle it.

On our way to Merlion, we saw some Historical Building. And the picture above taken in the basement of a hotel slash connecting way to the MRT. Interesting to saw how they took attention the small detail and how they dont let any space wasted.

Indonesia could learn for that. And Singapore, they gotta learn how to speak, indeed.

(2) Bugis Street

October, 14th 2012

From Sentosa Island we went to Bugis Street to had a dinner. Why? Obvious reason, we couldn't afford the food at Sentosa Island which was so expensive. Poor traveller, remember? hehe

Bugis Street - Singapore

Bugis Street famously known as a cheap market. If you intended to buy something as a gift, this place is the perfect place to go. Not only souvenir, they also sell other thing such clothes, bags, shoes and food. From the first time i visited this place, i saw so many juice seller in this place. And its only 1 SGD. Yummeh ! :9

In the back of the market, there's a food court. Since its kind a late, some of them was already closed. I took several turn to finally found something halal to buy. Alhamdulillah, because i was wearing veil, the seller notice me as a moeslem and keep telling me whether their food was not halal. I wonder if didn't wear my veil, i probably eat haram food. Such an experience :')

Finally, me and Harvin ended up in this tall names Soon Soon Heng. I ordered fried fish dumpling hor fun and Fried fish dumpling for my dinner. It costed 4 and 2 SGD. The hor fun taste a lil weird, not really my favorite but i ate it all anyway. But the dumpling tasted delicious. Hehe

(2) Song of the Sea

Melissa said, if went to Sentosa Island..dont ever think to missed this spectacular show name Song of the Sea. Since the enterance ticket still reasonable, we decided to follow Melissa advice. Here come the magical Song of the Sea..

Song of the Sea - Sentosa Island, Singapore

The show began at 7 o'clock. Since we went there on time, we got the perfect place to watched this show. Right in the middle. Hehehe By the way, the ticket costed 12 SGD.

The show took place at Siloso Beach, such a beautiful beach indeed. We sat in the wood bench, headed to the beach. I got no clue about this show, maybe thats why this show really wow me that much.

Just like Harvin said this how is kind a High School Musical type. People sing and dance during the show. What makes this show extra ordinary was...the technology. They using the water from the beach and project the 4D images in it. Cant say how cool it was. You may check it your self. hehe

Okay, the story was actually very simple. Its about some kids who love to sing. One of them could waken up the sleeping princess of the sea and some giant monster. So they sing and sing to beat the monster and free the princess. End of story. But you gotta be agree with me about this, the efect was totally cool. The water, the fire, the projector, the fireworks. Really worth to watch.

After the show ended, all we saw was a happy face all around. They really enjoyed the show as we did. And one thing i love the most was...the beach turn into a very romantic place in the night. Unlucky me, i was single..well..i still single. Oh dear future husband, please bring me to the sea at night. Will you? *wink wink* hahaha
